Our start
In the restaurant business of Montreal, we do not present him anymore, everybody knows him or heard about him. He is the fantastic founder of À la Carte Express since its creation in 1996, he is the great, the only one… Michel Lépine ! (you understood, Michel is my boss). It is indeed more than 20 years since this food lover had the idea to create his own company. Why ? - He wanted to be able to eat his favorites meals from his favorite restaurants while staying at home - and we all understand that ! Have you never had this little moment of weakness, this feeling of tiredness, the laziness of going out to eat good food ? You don’t know how to cook ? You don’t like to wash the dishes ? You want to share a good meal with your family and friends without having to cook for hours ? All these reasons led Michel to create À la Carte Express, and we thank him for that ! He was a true precursor in that domain, one of the first to do it in Montreal, allowing us to enjoy our free time even more since years. All this thanks to our intrepid and experienced delivery men who brave bad weather and traffic to serve us, summer like winter.
Growing up
Our 100% Montreal company evolved a lot since its start, she had to adapt to the new consumption habits and an increasing competition, but we kept our main values : Humanity, good service and excellence. We are a company close to our clients and partner restaurants which are rigorously selected and approved by all the team ! If À la Carte Express is still one of the best actor in the food delivery area of Montreal, it is because we want to offer a perfect service, with a choice of more than 160 restaurants available in delivery 7 days on 7 in the Plateau Mont-Royal and Downtown district.

Our evolution begin with the listening of our clients ; this is why we adapt regularly our offer depending of your needs. This is how we created in 2018 a special offer for the workers, simply named “À la Carte Entreprise (Company)”. These new solution are adaptable regarding the different working methods we find in big cities. the main advantage is a big gain of time on your lunch break, thanks to tools like the group order, the meals to be shared, the corporate account, the lunch boxes or the traditional individual delivery.
